Fremont with a Friend

My friend is visiting from Korea and today I took her around Fremont. I've been to this part of Seattle several times but never really took  the time to photograph it or sightsee. This is a quirky part of town and I think that is why I am starting to love this part of the country.

For one, they have a statue of Lenin...

Other fun quirks include a troll under a bridge...

Overall just a fun place to explore...

Despite the rainy weather it made for some good photos of raindrops on flowers. The sun did pop out and we were able to dry off for a while.

There was a fun plant store where you could make little arrangements of air plants in glass.

My plant!
